Building SVN1.5 and libneon issues

Hi,

I'm currently trying to build SVN 1.5 RC9 on Ubuntu Server 8.04. When
I got the libneon27-dev package from apt-get, it couldn't find
libneon.la. So, I downloaded the libneon 0.28 source and built it
myself, however it put libneon.la in /usr/local/lib instead of
/usr/lib. Will Subversion be able to find it at this new location?
Just to be safe I went ahead and did "cp /usr/local/lib/libneon.la
/usr/lib".
