RE: REPORT Request failed

I also have the same problem, but I'm certain that I have no proxy since the server is on the same lan.

I just tried a cycle of first removing a dir and then updating its parent, about 40 times. The update failed about 30 times. The directory contains 9 files of a total of 20.8 MB. Most of the times I got the "REPORT request failed", but some times I got the error message "svn: Failed to unpack svndiff data" (translated from swedish).

I also tried changing the Timeout and KeepAliveTimeout directives in my apache conf, but there was no change in behavior.

Any other ideas?

Regards,

Michael Grundberg

I'm not so sure, if this is the case. The Server is located in a hosting center. I can't think of any reason, why such a center should use a proxy between the backbone and my server. Even if I restart the action I get the same error (almost instantly). But, I'll try to move the SVN connection to an other port and see, if it helps.

Thanks any way for the link.

BTW: Will an other port like 8080 suffice, or do I really need encryption?
