DAV read-only access

Hi all,

can someone who know more about DAV tell me something:

Does

  <LimitExcept GET PROPFIND REPORT OPTIONS>
    Require valid-user
  </LimitExcept>

in the httpd.conf force anonymous access to read-only, or does it leave a
door open for repostory corruption?
