commit error: db/txn-current': No such file or directory

Hi,

I just stumbled into a problem that prevents to do a commit. Trying to commit
ends in displaying the following error message:

Commit failed (details follow):
Can't open file '/usr/local/svnroot/prjs/tplate-doc/db/txn-current': No such
file or directory

The content of the /usr/local/svnroot/prjs/tplate-doc/db directory is as
follows:

        revprops
        revs
        transactions
        txn-protorevs
        current
        format
        fs-type
        indexes.sqlite
        transaction-current
        txn-current-lock
        uuid
        write-lock

Issuing svnadmin lstxns on the repository does not produce any output. I can do
a checkout from this repository without any problems.
The version of Subversion is: 1.5.0 RC4.

What might be the root cause and how to proceed?
