RE: Re: Subversion repository on unix mounted dir

Hi,
I have a question regarding NFS mounted SVN repos..
When I tried to run "svnadmin hotcopy" command, it fails..
Showing "no shared lock found"..

When I went through some threads related to this, it sounds like the NFS mount needs to be changed to support locks and older version of NFS did not support these..

Any info on executing SVN backups from mounted NAS?

Thanks and Regards,
Jaya

Yes. For NFS, see: http://subversion.tigris.org/faq.html#nfs
