Controlling access via database?

Hello,

Using the Apache WebDav module, is it possible to either:

1. Easily create a large number (tens or hundreds of thousands) of
repositories that are described by database entries instead of authz
files, or

2. Create a repository with a large number of subdirectories, where each
subdirectory is restricted on read/write permissions via database entries.

Basically I want to give a large number of users each their own
repository or subdirectory, restricted so that only they can read/write to
it, and have all the data stored in PostgreSQL.

Is this possible?

Thanks,
-Joshua Kramer
