Finally I have solved the problem.
As it transpired:
For some reason, make install-swig-py in the subversion-folder did not link
the libs correctly.
I had to run ldconfig and re-run make install-swig-py a couple of times
before all files were linked properly.
I have now TRAC/SVN up and running on a NAS (WD Mybook World)
