Can you explain this again? We are also using svn (1.4.3) w/Tortoise (1.4.3) and setting the bugtraq properties, including prompting for the Mantis ID (1.0.8) and adding a comment to the log.

It is adding something to the log message when committing, but I guess its the wrong item? When you say "At each message it appends [ID#number], this is imho redundant.", that is the purpose of setting the properties.

Maybe send the bugtraq property settings - in case that would help.

I am not clear what is wrong. Thx

  hello,

I have setup Subversion with Mantis using bugtraq:message for adding an
id to the log comment and the post-commit hook to parse the log message
for this bug id.
At each message it appends [ID#number], this is imho redundant.

Is it possible to query the bug-id, which seems to be a property, in the
post-commit hook to avoid the generated id?
