Case Insensitive File Names?

At the risk of insulting all your *nix purists out there, I wanted to ask for a possible new feature for SVN. It would be great if we could have a switch that would ignore case in file names.

As a backup plan, can a hook be created so that when a file is updated/added/watever that it converts the filename to a standard format (e.g., all lower case)?

We work in a windows environment and the file name case sensitivity can be a problem for us...

Thanks for your input...
