Re: not enough space on the disk

When you say there is plenty of space left on the disk - make sure you are checking the disk (or server) where the subversion repository actually resides, since Tortoise is a client -?

Not sure if OS and version info will really help here, but if you provide it, someone else may know of another reason.

  Good luck

I’m having a problem with the tortoise SVN. Trying to commit any change causes A ‘Commit Failed’ Error
Can’t write to file ‘….’: There is not enough space on the disk.

I realize this should indicate the disk is out of room. But there is plenty of space left on the disk, and I mean gigabytes of space.
And the change I’m trying to commit is in a small file.

I have searched the TortoiseSVN website as well as the internet with no luck.

I really don’t know how to go about fixing this problem, can you help me out?

  Regards
