backup working copy

My computer is backed up nearly daily. I'm wondering which files (if
any) in the .svn directories I should back up, and which files can I
exclude. The system is sophisticated enough that the pristine copies
don't add additional storage or transfer cost (since they already
exist in the backup pool), but there is overhead for each file that it
is analyzed that I'd like to eliminate if possible. I apologize if
this is a commonly answered question, I've searched google and the
archives and couldn't find it.
