The users DDL should possibly be a list only, that is not allow you to
type in anything, merely pick the user from a list.
Also, I entered "sss" for the user (which is an invalid name), but
clicking Ok dismissed the dialog instead of warning me. I didn`t get any
error, but the Saved Search also did not show up. Perhaps validation
could do with another once over.
