clarification in executing 'svnserve -i' and 'svnserve -d'

Hi All,

1.When I have executed the command
'svnserve -i -r /etc/subversion'

I am getting the following message

"( success ( 1 2 ( ANONYMOUS ) ( edit-pipeline svndiff1 absent-entries ) )
)"

Kindly guide me for the rectification I have to make to any of the
configuration parameters in 'conf' folder.

2.How to stop svn server started as a daemon using 'svnserve -d -r
/etc/subversion' command.
