Merging an unversioned copy with a versioned one

Hi,

I know svn purists would say I probably shouldn't do this, but I
really need to do it because some of the people I'm working with can't
use svn/don't know how to use it/don't want to know how to use it.

I want to know how can I merge an unversioned copy of a project
(others) and a versioned one (mine).
