Why doesn't show "svn log ." latest changes?

Hi,

I am using svn 1.4 and wondered why a "svn log ." in my working directory
"work" did not show the latest changes. (I stumbled upon this while
testing svn2cl.) If I checked a recently changed file directly with "svn
log file" the output was okay in contrast to the log on the directory.

Only when I went up one directory and did "svn log work" the output was as
desired and contained also latest changes made to all files in that
directory.

Is there a reason for this behaviour? Or is it just a bug?

Regards,
Marko
