Web build & release papers

Hi all,

First and foremost, my sincere apologies if this is not the
appropriate forum to inquire about the following.

I'm looking for any papers or books which might contain detail on web
based builds and releases catering to applications that're versioned
with svn.

If anyone has any they can piblicalky share or recommend, it would be
appreciated. Essentially any details on creating "builds" ( even
though web apps aren't compiled ) and then releasing them to web boxes
and any other related details and ideas would be of tremendous
assistance.
