We're using Subversion for version control of CAD files. Because these
files are binary and we do not have a tool that will compare 2 CAD files
and delineate the differences, the usefulness is limited to secure
archival and a history of revisions with user comments. But that's
still better than trying to maintain the version history manually. I'd
be interested in hearing from others who are using Subversion for CAD

I use Subversion to store my musical compositions. (Just small
sequencer files; no large binary audio files.)
