Internal directories (db, hooks) suddenly in working copy / browser view

Dear all, 
 I'm running two repositories with Subversion 1.2.3 (r15833) and 
 In the beginning everything was fine. 
 Some time ago I noticed that suddenly in the "browser view" (i.e. pointing 
 Now when I did an update of one of the working copies, these directories 
 "svn log" says the directories have been added by a user (who does not 
 A second repository on the same server looks fine. 
 Do you have any idea what might have happened? Should I worry about this?
