If you use CollabNet's Solaris builds, CollabNet offers a discount on
their support contract. While I don't work for CollabNet, this discount
is one reason why we're considering Solaris as a replacement for our Mac
OS X environment. There is nothing wrong with our Mac OS X environment.
It is just that our hardware is quickly going out of warranty and we
have a lot Solaris systems including large drive arrays. As someone
pointed out earlier, ZFS is another reason.
Another source for server setups, and good at that is from IBM.
