svnserve init scripts

I was talking to my sysadmin to install the svnserve and he said that he
needs the script provided by the package. On searching online, I came
accross this

Should I just give him the script or there is a latest version?

We have
2004, SunFire V60x, Dual Xeon 3.06GHz , running RedHat Linux AS 3.0
