Ah. ok. sorry about that. I also read the gmane thread now, but I have
to agree with Stefan for now. You're very non-specific about the
process which leads to this problem.

Which commands does the user issue? Does Subversion (or TSVN or Ankh)
generate any output (errors even) when executing those commands? Was
the commit to the changed file the only thing in the commit, or were
there other changes in the same commit too?

IOW, there's a lot more to know than you're currently telling us. I
hope your users remember, because it's quite important. There are
errors which suggest that this problem is going to pop up: "Commit
succeeded, but errors follow: ..."
