Re: Subversion checkin problem

   Followup:

commit-mail script now runs forked. However, this morning Frank ran into the glitch
again, after committing stdafx.h, then realizing he had a better way of doing it, changing
it again, and trying to commit again. He was using Ankh, to see if the problem was
specific to TortoiseSVN or not. Ankh's error report is:

NSvn.Core.SvnClientException:
Commit failed (details follow):
at NSvn.Core.Client.Commit(String[] targets, Recurse recurse, Boolean keepLocks) in
d:\tmp\build-26\src\nsvn.core\client.cpp:line 379
    at Ankh.Commands.CommitItemCommand.DoCommit(IContext context) in
D:\tmp\build-26\src\Ankh\Commands\CommitItemCommand.cs:line 102
    at Ankh.SimpleProgressWorker.Work(IContext context) in
D:\tmp\build-26\src\Ankh\ProgressRunner.cs:line 24
    at Ankh.ProgressRunner.Run() in D:\tmp\build-26\src\Ankh\ProgressRunner.cs:line 95
NSvn.Core.SvnClientException:
Your file or directory 'stdafx.h' is probably out-of-date

NSvn.Core.SvnClientException:
The version resource does not correspond to the resource within the transaction. Either
the requested version resource is out of date (needs to be updated), or the requested
version resource is newer than the transaction root (restart the commit).

Basically, the same error. The common element seems to be committing a file that you
were the last one to commit.

I will have him do a new checkout over lunch to repair the situation.

Any other ideas? I am about to be out of touch for a week, and I'm really the
SVN/CVS/RCS guy, my other two developers aren't real savvy in Linux admin and RCS stuff.
