Rant about "Fwd" and "svn update failed"

Sorry about this slight rant.

My mail viewer has an option to view mails in threads which is very
helpful for the subversion list in that it sorts the incoming mail
into coherent conversations. It does this by examining the "in-reply-
to" header (I think). The functionality is common to a number of
mail viewers.

Can I ask that when starting a new conversation on this list you do
not reply to an existing message and merely strip out the title and
text. My mail reader is treating both topics in the title of this
mail as the same conversation either because there is a bug in it or
because somebody started one of these threads by replying to a post
in the other. I believe this little tip is in the list guidelines.
