Auth with SingleSignOn - Siteminder - Subversion-TortoiseSVN

Does TortoiseSVN and Subversion client work with a web server single sign-on
products such as SiteMinder?

In the case of Siteminder, transparent access after the initial login is
achieved by the passing of cookies (e.g.
SMSESSION cookie) on subsequent requests from the client.

It appears that Subversion does not handle this, resulting in the user to
being prompted for user name and password on every action that is
done.....rendering the product nearly unusable.

Any insight would be much appreciated as we are trying to deploy Subversion
to our company utilizing our corporate LDAP/Single Sign On utility
[SiteMinder]
