Hi all,

Further to my post below, I've tried dumping and reloading the whole
repository and it doesn't make any difference. I've tried checking out a
new working copy but that also doesn't help.

It *IS* possible to commit alterations to existing files, but it seems
the commit always fails if you try and add any new files:

"Error: Cannot write to the prototype revision file of transaction
'220-1' because a previous representation is currently being written by
this process"

I don't understand how this problem can persist with a new repository
and a new working copy.

Can anybody suggest any fixes for this problem?
