not in repository message after merge

Hi,

I use IntelliJ's svn client to perform svn tasks:

on 9/4 I did a merge from our trunk to branch which completed without errors, all development was then only to be done on the branch until further notice then on 9/12 I find out two developers had continued to commit to the trunk,
so I then merged those files to the branch. but know there is a directory listed in the integrate info pane which is called "not in repository" which contains 111 items. the problem is that they exist on both the trunk and the branch when I browse both the trunk and branch on the svn server.

Why would these items be displayed as "not in repository" by IntelliJ?

Thanks,
Brian
