svnmapper and svn 1.5

I am playing with svnmapper (http://svnmapper.tigris.org/), and while it
isn't particularly flashy or professional in appearance, I like it and
it will be useful for visualizing repository structures. Since its home
page is quite sparse (no documents, no announcements, etc.), I am
wondering if this project is static. Is this kind of tool going to be
integrated into Subversion as part of the merge tracking feature? Are
there other projects like svnmapper that have more features or a better
appearance?

This kind of code line visualization is a major value-add feature, in my
opinion.
