problem in connecting to the remote SVN server

HI,

I'm finding some problem in connecting to the remote SVN server.

I have a ruby on Rails application which is designed to browse the SVN
repository. It works effectively with the repository in the same machine.

If i tried to connect to the remote server am getting a error message saying
"Unable to open "http:192.168.xx.xx/Rails" format, then i came to know that
its not possible to access the remote server with that application.

Is there any way to access the Remote server if so help me out with that.

please help me in fixing this issue.
