I have mutiple repositories, like about 20.
This is my httpd.conf (well snippet of it):
<Location /svn>
DAV svn
SVNParentPath /svn
AuthzSVNAccessFile /usr/local/apache2/svnaccess.list
Require valid-user
SVNIndexXSLT "/svnindex.xsl"
AuthType Basic
AuthName "Subversion Repository"
AuthUserFile /usr/local/apache2/users
SVNPathAuthz off
</Location>
I hope this helps you. I agree the users file should not be in the path
available on the web
