Checkout/export problems - missing files

Hi

We are heavily using svn across our company and most of the time it works
fine, but sometimes we got very strange behavior which is very annoying.
When checkout or export is performed on quite large repository some files
are missing, in client log there is no error - it looks like the file was
never there - it is not listed, in apache log there is an error that looks
similar to this:

[Mon Jul 23 08:40:36 2007] [error] [client 192.168.1.3] user xxxx not found:
/RepoName/!svn/ver/5003/trunk/src/Example/DirectionPanel.cs

Client does not report any error, as if the file was not in repository,
however second checkout will usually work normally - the file is there.
This happens for random files.

Recently we introduced Continuous Integration using CruiseControl.NET and a
lot of builds fail due to some files missing.

Server:
PLD Linux 2.0
Apache 2.2.4
Subversion 1.4.4
Repositories are accessed through http/https

Any clues?

Regards
Krzysztof Suszka
