That is also the reason why a proxy that understands HTTP can cause Subversion to fail sometimes. It simply blocks WebDAV requests that are not basic HTTP requests but extensions. Also, from the error message I would say that the execution of the request failed and not the transport of the request.

You were right. On the server itself, I was able to change the log message over HTTP(apache).
But from outside of the server, the WebDav Request is blocked. Do you know how to get rid of this?
