svn: Could not open the requested SVN filesystem

Hi

I am using "hotcopy" to backup our SVN repo, but it seems like we had
some hardware problems recently, which we fixed
and then we recovered svn by using

svnadmin recover PATH_TO_SVN

and when I am updating my local workspace with "svn up" everything looks
fine, but as soon as I try to check something in I will receive the
following message:

Could not send request body: connection was closed by server.

the SVN server will be "blocked" again and I need to use "recover" again

Any idea what might be wrong?

From Googling I didn't find any solution which helped and it seems that
all my permissions are correct.

Any pointers are very much appreciated.

Thanks

Michael
