web based client

Hi..

Doing some quick research into web based svn clients.

What have you guys seen as the best web based clients, to allow users to be
able to do project/file access
(creates/writes/reads/deletes/checkin/checkout/read comments/etc..)

I'm looking at using gforge, and I'm not sure it permits for file access
with regards the underlying repository. gforge uses viewvc, and as far as I
can tell, viewvc is only able to view the underlying file/project structure,
but it doesn't allow you to perform the above project/fill access functions
that I listed.

So, I'm trying to find a web based app that will have the listed actions, as
well as be able to use the underlying user/project/file access control files
as the user is accessing the files.

While I'd prefer a php based app, I'm willing to look at java based apps as
well. Polarion appears to be a good implementation, and it's listed as being
open source.

Let me know your thoughts!

Thanks

-bruce
