Re: Backup Question -- Difference between rsync and hotcopy

I'm planning to set up backup for our svn server as well. Currently we are short on space on the prd server, but I'm thinking of doing a sync to the dev server and doing full and incremental dumps there.

Does this sound like a good idea? I would probably set up a post-commit hook to do a sync and have daily incrementals and weekly full backups. Is there a guide somewhere on setting up the initial sync?
