Huh? How do you see the several date-based commands that have been
noted in this thread as not providing equal functionality to CVS? The
rest of the stuff is just pointing out that trying to emulate CVS isn't
always a good idea when you have better options available.

We claim you can use this shiny new 6 speed automobile just like you
use your old 4 speed model, without learning new gear positions.
However, this doesn't mean you should ignore the new 5th and 6th gears...
