WebSVN, ViewVC, and other web-based repository browsers

Good afternoon everyone,

Since we started providing Subversion to all of the departments under
our umbrella, a request has come in to install some type of web-based
repository browser. The requestor mentioned ViewVC
(http://viewvc.tigris.org/) while my personal experience has been using
WebSVN (http://websvn.tigris.org/). Honestly, I would have liked to
base my decision for one over another based on whether they could
process the mod_dav authorization file used to server repositories
through Apache.

As these both appear to be CollabNet blessed projects, is there any
serious comparison points to consider between the two?

Thanks,

A-
