Post-commit issues using commit-email.pl

Hi,
I am newbie to subversion. I am trying to setup automatic email to the
developers on every commit to the repository.

I tried the mailer.py first , but it asked me for the python bindings and I
am not allowed to really get the python bindings on my CPU or build the SVN
from source. I am using RPM files of subversion1.4.2 in Lunix box.

Now, I want to try commit-email.pl. Has anyone configured post-commit emails
using this commit-email.pl. If so what are the steps?

I would really appreciate your help.
