What I take out of this thread is the fact the Subversion itself
doesn't force any set structure on its users, allowing them to tailor
the structure that best suits the development process using it. And
that's got to be a good thing.

For me, the trunk/branches/tags works just fine. But that doesn't
mean that it works for everyone. That's fine too. Subversion is
flexible enough to support these both. :)
