Re: svn co without -r gives confusing results

Jan,

Revision numbers apply to the entire repository tree. The repository
tree is a directory structure in which 'trunk' is a *subdirectory*.
'branches' is another subdirectory, etc.

In other words, '/' in your repository is not the root of trunk, it is
the root of trunk's *parent*.

Does it all make sense now?
