Migration from SVN 1.1.1 to latest version

Hi all,

I have an old server with SVN 1.1.1 which houses 45 different repos. I'd
like to migrate all of these repos to a new server with the latest version
of SVN installed on it. I'd like to preserve the full history of each repo.

What's the best way to go about this type of migration? Is svn dump and load
the best way? Does it work with different versions of svn? Does anyone have
practical experience doing this?

Any advice would be appreciated!

TIA,
Balazs
