"Commit succeeded, but other errors follow"

All,

I'm trying to track down the root cause of an error I'm getting. Doing a
commit after a merge, I'm getting this:

...
svn: Commit succeeded, but other errors follow:
svn: Error bumping revisions post-commit (details follow):
svn:
Directory '.../workingcopy/780a939c157c91b6eed8069753acbebe/511ffa4d3601bcffa17b0b00
fc354feb/c01367448585640c82d91f0764cb7004' is missing

(filenames sanitized)

Subversion does not display the new revision number, though it is created in
the repository. I'm using Subversion 1.4.2.

The only way I've been able to reproduce this is by taking a dump of the
repository up to the commit just before the problem, loading that, and then
doing the checkout, merge and commit commands.

I added a "sanitize" function to svndumptool so I can provide a dumpfile that
can be used to reproduce the problem, along with a bash script to walk
through the problematic steps. The dumpfile is 27M.

Who wants to take a look at this issue? Do I post a bug to the issue tracker?

Thank you for your time,

Eli
