svn client on mac OS X with htdigest authentification

Hello everbody,

I have a user that cannot connect to my subversion repository from its
mac computer using the command line svn client. (the version 1.3.1
binary package from
http://metissian.com/downloads/macosx/subversion/subversion-client-1.3.1.dmg)

The subversion server is version 1.3.1 (r19032) through wedav on
Apache/2.0.55 (actually, ubuntu dapper versions)

The problem seems to come from the incompatible version used for
htdigest authentication on the server and the client, as stated here:
http://lists.connectedflow.com/pipermail/xjournal-dev/2006-May/000294.html

However, I have no clue on how to solve that, and I'm totally new to
mac. Is there a clean and simple solution ?

Thanks a lot for any hint

best regards

Sebastien
