Problems with svn commit

Hello,
I'm using subversion 1.4.3. After an initial checkout and some
modifies I want commit my changes but I got following error:
svn: Can't create directory
'/home/svn/baselab/db/transactions/1-1.txn': no permission
As far as I can see the rights are ok. Whats wrong with it?
