How would resolution of conflicts be done? Rather than cross-syncing,
what if (and I'm not sure whether or not this already exists), the
remote location is able to sync off a read-only remote copy of the
repository. Doing so would speed up syncs (at the expense of being at
least a little behind the main repository). Submits would still take
a while.
