Compiling on Solaris

Hello - I am trying to compile 1.4.3 under Solaris with BDB support. I am
confused about the compilation process with respect to the APR.

* I have downloaded and compiled BDB 4.5.20.
* I have downloaded and compile Apache 2.0.59.
* I have downloaded Subversion 1.4.3 and the deps package.

I am confused about getting the Berkeley DB stuff linked with the APR. When
running configure with the --with-berkeley-db and --with-axps options for
Subversion I get the following error:

You don't seem to have Berkeley DB version 4.0.14 or newer
installed and linked to APR-UTIL. We have created Makefiles which
will build without the Berkeley DB back-end; your repositories will
use FSFS as the default back-end. You can find the latest version of

The FAQ about compiling under *nix that looked relevant has been removed.
Does anyone have any suggestions for this problem, do I need to be compiling
apache differently? Using the binaries from sunfreeware is not an option
unfortunately.
