That's nice work if you can get it, but (a) there is no reason to expect
such tools to exist for all uses of text that you might want under
revision control, and (b) the only part that is in the scope of
subversion's handling is whether it considers a line-ending-style change
to be a difference in a text file and whether it offers the option to
present the style of your choice in checkouts and updates. I think the
handling could be improved in both of those areas while still permitting
binary handling as an option for those who don't care about portability.
