Subject: upgrade subversion 1.2.3 to 1.4.2 now getting MKACTIVITY 403 forbidden errors

We had Win2k3 with apache 2.0.55 and subversion 1.2.3

We moved all the repositories to another w2k3 box with apache 2.0.59 and subversion 1.4.2

We are getting errors when trying to commit to some(not all) of the repositories:

        Error: Commit failed (details follow):
        Error: MKACTIVITY of '/repos/projectname/!svn/act/31106b62-daf4-4c4d-82a6-7f61f2a539f5': 403 Forbidden (http://subversion)

        Apache error looks like this:

[Mon Jan 29 11:15:28 2007] [error] [client 10.0.8.5] Access denied: 'DOMAIN\\Jon.Smith' MKACTIVITY projectname:

Hello,

Verify that the user running apache has read/write access on the files dav/activities.* in your repository.
I'm not sure that it's the best solution (may be someone can answer that...) but I'm quite sure that it will solve the problem.

Regards
Christophe
