Apache service name in Windows

I just installed Apache 2.2.4 with the installer
apache_2.2.4-win32-x86-no_ssl.msi

The installer creates Apache with the service name "Apache2",
but the included binary httpd expects the service to be named
"Apache2.2", and thus doesn't work.
