Sometimes I need to record the revision number in the logs for merge
tracking (merged r103 - r120) because sometimes I only need a portion of
a branch and you might not know which portion ahead of time. If you need
to remove some data from the repository(security or privacy reasons) the
revision numbers become invalid. It would be nice if the filtering of
revisions would put an empty commit in it's place as an option.
