Unable to connect the SVN server

Hi,
I configured the subversion server on the Linux fedora core 4 system . I done the import and checkout the data on the same system through both command line and esvn client . For the same system all operations are fine.
But when i want to connect client(tortoise or rapid svn) to subversion server( Linux fedora core 4 system), i unable to connect. i verfied the server path .fine.
But i able to connect to different sub version repository on different linux mechine through different clients. same configuration is done for above.
Please give solution to reslove the problem.
